Kentucky Owl Wiseman Launch

Kentucky Owl invited a select group of media for a luxurious stay at Osborn House paired with a guided tasting, cooking masterclass and a fire-cooked meal by the Osborn House resident fire chefs.

Eleven created a sensory experience where guests were immersed in the world of Wiseman Whiskey with understated elegance and luxury, subtle yet impactful touchpoints and moments at every step. Hand-crafted welcome gifts were styled in each guest’s room, including baskets full of locally sourced delicacies, monogrammed leather wash bags, and specially baked cookies using flavour notes found in the bourbon, such as allspice and cinnamon.

Cocktail hour was spent overlooking the national park, with Old Fashion’s and canapes, followed by a guided bourbon tasting and masterclass. Eleven styled the space, drawing out the flavour notes in the whiskey, including nutmeg, cinnamon, quills, and cardamon pods, with their scents infusing the air. At each place setting, guests were gifted a monogrammed leather notebook to record their thoughts.

The head chef led a demonstration on how to make a chimichurri to accompany a steak. Guests bottled their marinade, which they kept to take home. The sliding doors opened to reveal the dining room, a candlelit table with an abundance of oranges styled throughout the centre, leaves and branches still intact. Each meal was paired with a Kentucky Owl Wiseman Whiskey cocktail.

The night was finished by the fire roasting marshmallows, with the guests wrapping themselves in alpaca woollen blankets and sipping on hot toddy before heading to sleep.
